When he was a boy the artist Jens Owczarek created technical sculptures in copper-wire like watches, little cars, aeroplanes and ships.

 Years later he came up with the idea to create copper figures with 10mm copperwire, which he bent with his naked hands into wonderful sculptures. Impressionable is the clever method. In one line without any solder the artist creates his remarkable pieces of work - stable but swinging.

 The inspiration of these sculptures he obtained during an aerobatic flight with his biplane during an airshow as pilot. In one line he is able to built up a figure painted with smoke in the sky.

 Jens Owczarek studied medicine and managed his own office as an eyedoctor for 35 years in Düsseldorf/Germany.
